Studio Policies

I ask that you familiarize yourself with my studio policies before starting lessons. Thanks!

    • Please keep cancellations a minimum of 24 hours in advance of your lesson. In this case, I’d be happy to do my very best to accommodate you and reschedule with your payment being applied to your rescheduled time. 

    • With less than 24 hours notice, I cannot guarantee a reschedule and it is up to my discretion whether or not the policy was respected. (ie: illness, serious emergency, etc.)

    • I ask that you pay for your lesson when scheduling to secure your slot and to avoid wasting your lesson time on payment processing. This is non-refundable for the purposes of simplicity and holding your slot, but I’d be happy to reschedule if something comes up and apply your payment to a future lesson.

    • Please be respectful during lessons and communications outside of lessons. I reserve the right to refuse service to a student who is actively hostile or rude. I’m here to help you be the best singer you can be.

    • Conversely, if something I say or do makes you uncomfortable, feel free to speak up. I have your best interest in mind and want you to feel comfortable and free in my studio.

    • Please don’t come to an in-person lesson if you’re sick! 

    • As far as online lessons, that is up to your discretion, though if you feel too sick to sing, it’s often better to reschedule. 

    • As for myself, I will reschedule in-person lessons, switch to online, or wear PPE if I become ill according to the discretion of the student and myself.
